The lightweight foam access system has been developed to enable road rail vehicles and equipment to mount the rail quickly and safely. The rail crossing or access point is made from two metre long foam sections, each of which weighs under 25kg so they can be easily hand-carried into position. Only simple site preparation is required.

Temporary Rail Access System
Innovative Solution
The purpose of the foam rail ramps is to provide and easy to install temporary road-rail access point for the on/off/cross tracking of RRV’s with axle loads up to 15 tonnes.
Protective
The ramps are suited for use on flat-bottom line with sleeper spacing of around 650mm. The recesses for the clips allow for some variation in sleeper spacing.
Quick Handling
Each section has a hand-hold for easy handling. Whilst each section weighs less than 25kg, two people are required to lift them into place due to the overall size.

The foam rail ramp system has a proven track-record in the UK where is carries Network Rail approval and is used nationwide.
